The first time I visited Jaan Kaplinski's place it was winter. We had a walk up the hill of his property: Mutiku, which is located in south Estonia. Tiia, his daughter in law, was giving his grand child a ride on a sleigh. Jaan described me all the different trees, plants, flowers and colors you could see in the summer time/
